ARTIST'S
COMMENTS: The Jupiter is a double-ended 38-foot wooden salmon boat
built in Astoria, Oregon in 1926. She was up on blocks in August
2004 when I painted her in the harbor yards at Brookings, Oregon.
She is now back in the water as an active fishing boat.

to raise funds for a new ice machine to enable the Florence fishing
fleet to remain a working, viable part of the community.
